ROSEDALE, Queens (PIX11) — A 12-year-old girl is the sole survivor of a shooting in a Queens home where her father shot and killed several family members before killing himself Saturday morning.
Police responded to the shooting at 231-11 148th Avenue in Queens around 5:40 a.m.
Jonathon Walker, 34, is accused of shooting and killing his family, including 31-year-old Shantai Hale, his 62-year-old mother-in-law Viola Warren, and his 7-year-old daughter Kayla Walker, according to police.
The three victims were found shot in the head, and all were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Walker’s 12-year-old daughter was also shot in the head, but managed to call 911.
She was transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital and has been upgraded to stable condition. Her identity has not been released.
Walker was found hours later in his 2013 Silver GMC Acadia in a wooded area of Queens. He was dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot…
